The cost of the class is $180 and does not include ammunition, firearms or the cost of the license fees with DPS. Range fees are included.
The new book “Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals” by Michael Martin compliments the course materials and is highly recommended reading. It may be purchased at a reduced cost during the class for $20.

NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course
The course is 8 hours long and includes classroom and range time learning to shoot revolvers and semi-automatic pistols. You will learn NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; pistol parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting from the bench rest position; two handed standing position; cleaning a pistol and continued opportunities for skill development. Students will receive the NRA Guide to Pistol Shooting handbook, NRA Safety Rules brochure, NRA/Winchester Marksmanship Qualification booklet; take a Basics of Pistol Shooting Examination and a course completion certificate.
The cost of the class is $120 and does not include ammunition. Range fees are included.

CRG-1: Pistol Gunfighting
All training must begin with fundamentals. This comprehensive fundamentals class is designed to prep you for the more advanced courses such as Close Range Gun fighting. Through a carefully designed and detailed curriculum we are able to bring you up to a level of skill in a short two day class that previously would take over 4 or 5 days to achieve at other schools.
You will learn a complete presentation of the modern combative technique of the pistol which will put you in good standing for any defensive situations you may encounter in the real world.
We will also be incorporating fundamental Point Shooting techniques which will prep you for the more advanced courses such as Advanced Reactive Gun fighting. You will learn the components of various point shooting methods and integrate them into your existing skill sets. This knowledge will put you in good standing for any defensive situations you may encounter in the real world. No experience or prior training is needed to attend this class and it is specially suitable for beginners, or as a tune-up for accomplished shooters. Full payment is due with your registration. You will need 500 Rounds of Ammo.
CRG-2: Close Range Gunfighting
This is our flagship course and goes as far as you can safely go on a square range with live-fire pistols. The dynamic curriculum surpasses the traditional handgun methods commonly taught in most institutions and focuses of the use of the pistol in aggressive close range applications likely in individual civilian street encounters.
The class begins with a tune-up of the fundamentals, then we progress quickly to new skills such as Proactive and Reactive Manipulations, Shooting While Moving Off The X, Reality-Based Multiple Hostiles Engagement, 360 degree CQB Movement, Danger-Close Fighting, Bilateral Shooting, Natural Reaction Shooting Methods, 360 Degree After Action Assessment Methods, and Integrating hand to hand skills into the Firing Platform. This is the life-saving material that is often ignored in many other programs. In two days, you will receive more information than most armed professionals ever get! 500 Rounds of Ammo.
CRG-3: Force on Force Gunfighting
Force On Force is the single most ‘eye opening’ Suarez class you will take. Force On Force is a different animal. You learn about yourself; your thought process, your ability to problem solve QUICKLY. You learn what street gear is optimum and what is trash for gun fighting. You learn to point shoot naturally and quickly as you move with modern proven methods. You learn that if you do not move fast you get shot. You learn that if you do not upset an opponent’s thought process he will catch up and shoot you.
It becomes evident that simple is faster, that fluidity and training are key and stagnation and ignorance are death.
What will you see and experience? Instinctive, reactive, shooting and moving. No poses, stances, or artificiality brought in from the range. Immediately, you will see what works…and what does not work. In an eye blink, you will see our Force on Force theme – In Ferro Veritas – an old swordsman’s term meaning “In Steel We Learn The Truth”. In other words…it is all theory until you test it in the crucible of combat. And Force on Force is the closet we can get to it without bloodshed.

You need to bring an airsoft gun with plenty of gas/co2, pellets, and spare mag. Long sleeves, mask, pants, pads, any other protection you need from pellets!
